Thames Valley Police Appeal After Teenage Girl Raped in Aylesbury Parking

Police have called for more information after a teenager was raped in a parking lot.

The victim was with friends in the parking lot on Walton Street in Aylesbury, next to the canal behind the campus of Buckinghamshire New University in Aylesbury on Monday.

She separated from her friends and was raped by a man in the parking lot on the fifth level, as well as on the stairs on the third level. The incident happened from 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm.

The offender is described as black, aged between 19 and 24, and approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall or more. He wore all black jogging, a puffy hooded coat and a blue item underneath, and an ass bag over his body.

Child Inspector Simon Thias, based at the Aylesbury Police Department, said: “The reported incident is, of course, very worrying and the victim is currently being supported by specially trained staff.

“I urge anyone who has been to the area where the victim was between 6.30pm and 7.50pm on Monday to contact the Thames Valley Police if you think you have witnessed anything that could help the investigation.

“I would also like to hear from anyone in the area who may have been driving and has a control camera, check this out and contact us if she has filmed anything.

“Also, if someone living nearby has video surveillance installed, please check this and get in touch if they have filmed something that can help us.

“I would like to assure the local community that we are investigating this as a matter of priority.”
