A man was arrested today in connection with the murder of teenager Niall Corrigan.
The 19-year-old boy was shot dead at Boode Croft in Stockbridge Village on November 12, 2020, dying from a gunshot wound to the back around 6:30 p.m. Paramedics are fighting in vain to save the life of Niall, who died on the spot.
A Merseyside police spokesman said today that a 25-year-old man from Houghton had been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder. He is still in police custody.

A Merseyside police spokesman said: “Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the murder of Niall Corrigan in Stockbridge Village in November 2020. A 25-year-old man from Houghton was arrested today, Friday, April 15, on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.
“He is still in police custody. Niall, 19, was shot dead in Bud Croft, Stockbridge Village, on November 12, 2020. He died of a single gunshot wound to the back around 6:30 p.m.
The arrest is the 11th since the teenager’s death since March 10, but no one has been charged yet.
