Police have identified the victim of the murder in southwest Edmonton

An autopsy confirmed that a man found dead in a garage in southwest Edmonton was the victim of a murder.

According to police, 41-year-old Curtis Vidal died from multiple gunshot wounds. He was at a home in the Erasmus Wind and Erasmus Crescent area on Tuesday night.

Police said in a press release Thursday that officers responded to a report of an injured man in a home at 9:13 p.m. Tuesday. Vidal was found in the front garage at this location.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have seen a vehicle believed to be a 2015 Silver Subaru Outback, in the Erasmus Wynd area or in the 4th Avenue and 39th Street area between Tuesday 19th: 00 hours and Wednesday, April 13 at 4:30 p.m.
