Toronto police are asking for help in identifying a suspect after a 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the Willowdale neighborhood early Thursday morning.
Police said a 24-year-old woman was walking in the Yonge Street and Empress Avenue areas when a man approached her and asked a question.
It is alleged that the man then sexually abused the woman. When she tried to escape, police said, the suspect followed her.
The woman entered a nearby building, where she approached security, police said. The suspect then fled the area.
On Thursday, police released security camera footage of the suspect, who was described as 5 feet 11 with a skinny physique.
He was wearing a gray vest, a black jacket, a white T-shirt, a black beanie hat, a backpack, and Doc Marten low boots. His face was covered with white cloth.
