The death of a 45-year-old man from Sarnia, found in a parking lot near Petrolia on Thursday morning, is being investigated as murder, Lambton OPP said.
Andrew Chutt was found dead in a rural car park near Martaville Road, in the town of Enniskilen, shortly after 7 am on April 14, police said. Part of the road is closed while police investigate.
“Investigators believe this is a targeted incident at the moment and there is no threat to public safety,” Lambton told OPP after declaring Chute’s death a murder.
The police and the investigator are conducting an investigation.
