The Cleveland Cavaliers and Atlanta Hawks put on an amazing show on Friday night in the first game of the NBA doubles tournament, and in the end, it was Trey Young and the Hawks who did enough to go away with a 107-101 victory at Rocket Mortgage Arena.
After a rough performance in the first half, Young was fantastic in the final 24 minutes of the game, scoring 32 of his highest 38 points in the game in the second half, when Atlanta needed them the most. With the victory, the Hawks are now facing top-ranked Miami Heat in a series that is sure to be the one that could create intrigue.
On the other hand, the loss put an end to the season, from which the Cavaliers could draw many positives, despite the fact that they did not qualify for the playoffs. Fortunately for Cleveland, however, this should not be the last time they insist on a place in the playoffs soon.
