Prince Harry and Megan Markle will introduce Lillibet to Queen Elizabeth II during their next visit to the UK in the near future as health problems increase, according to a source.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return to the UK in the near future to introduce Lillibet to the Queen amid her health concerns,” said a source close to the royal couple.
The Sussex family promised the queen that she would embrace her great-grandchildren Archie and Lilibet in the near future.
This comes amid growing concerns about the queen’s health, with the monarch recently refusing to attend the service on Maundy Thursday.
Prince Harry and Megan Markle paid a surprise visit to the Queen in Windsor on Thursday. Megan returned to the United Kingdom for the first time after the couple retired from royal duties in March 2020 and moved to the United States.
Megan and Harry exchanged a few words with the queen during a very cordial meeting and asked about her health. While the 95-year-old monarch also sent love to Lily and Archie. She is yet to meet her great-granddaughter, 11-month-old Lilibet, who is nicknamed the Queen’s childhood nickname.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the United Kingdom to meet with the monarch and Prince Charles for a peaceful proposal before leaving for The Hague today for the start of the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
Megan and Harry’s visit also led to their possible appearance at the Queen’s platinum anniversary event in June.
