Russia has released a video of Moscow’s “crew” after a warship sank

Russia released a video Saturday showing crew members of the Moscow-doomed warship that sank in the Black Sea during a Ukrainian missile attack.

Approximately 120 sailors and officers can be seen in the silent shots that stand out in uniform. The 26-second video was posted on the Russian Defense Ministry’s Facebook page.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, and the Command of the Black Sea Fleet met with the crew of the missile cruiser “Moscow” in Sevastopol, the caption to the video reads.

“The traditions of the Moscow Guards Missile Cruiser will be carefully preserved and continued, as has always been accepted in the Navy,” he continued.

The 600-foot Glory cruiser was carrying a crew of nearly 500 people – all of whom were evacuated before the ship sank on Thursday, the Kremlin insisted.

Russia’s Defense Ministry has released footage of what it claims to be the crew of the wrecked Moscow ship. Twitter in Sevastopol was held a wreath-laying ceremony for the lost ship and sailors. Twitter Russia has not posted photos of the rescue operation.Twitter

But the Russian military did not release photos from the rescue operation.

Dozens of people gathered in Sevastopol, the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, on Saturday to mourn the loss of Moscow and pay tribute to “the ship and the sailors” with a wreath-laying ceremony.
