Russia warns the United States of “unpredictable consequences” if it sends more weapons to Ukraine

Usiya warned the United States that it would have “unpredictable consequences” if it continued to arm Ukraine, according to reports.

They sent diplomatic notes accusing the United States and its allies of “refueling” the war, telling them to “stop the irresponsible militarization of Ukraine.”

“We call on the United States and its allies to stop the irresponsible militarization of Ukraine, which has unpredictable consequences for regional and international security,” the Washington Post said in a statement.

A spokesman for the US State Department could not confirm any diplomatic correspondents, but made it clear that they will continue to send weapons to Ukraine.

The spokesman said: “What we can confirm is that, together with allies and partners, we are providing billions of dollars in security assistance to Ukraine, which our Ukrainian partners are using to their advantage to protect their country from unprovoked aggression and horrific Russian acts of violence. “

President Joe Biden on Wednesday approved another $ 800 million (£ 612 million) in military aid, including additional helicopters and the first delivery of US artillery.

In mid-March, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said arms supplies would be targeted.

“We have warned the United States that pumping weapons into Ukraine from a number of countries, as they have organized, is not just a dangerous move, but an action that makes the convoys legitimate,” he said in a televised statement.

On Monday, the Russians said they had destroyed four S-300 surface-to-air missile launchers provided to Ukraine by an unspecified European state.

Slovakia, a NATO member bordering Ukraine, donated just such a system last week, but denied it was destroyed.

On Tuesday, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced that long-range missiles had been used to hit two Ukrainian ammunition depots.

The Pentagon said Wednesday that an unspecified number of additional Javelins should be delivered by Thursday, and the United States will complete deliveries of 100 armed kambiadze Switchblade drones this week.

Javelins are among the world’s most effective weapons against tanks and other armored vehicles – and can even shoot down a low-flying helicopter.
