Family of 45-year-old Sarnia, Ont. the man “shocked”, he left

Sarnia’s sister, Ont. a man police say was killed this week can’t believe her brother is gone.

The Lambton County OPP has identified Andrew Chut, 45, of Sarnia, as the victim of a murder in the town of Eniskilen, Ont.

“We are still shocked that someone can do this to him,” Chute’s sister, Heather Chute Grant, told CTV News in a statement.

“He was such a friendly man. Always available to help anyone when needed. ”

At 7 a.m. Thursday, April 14, provincial police responded to a report of a dead man in a parking lot on Martaville Road.

For three days OPP closed Marthaville Rd. and studied in front of the Martaville Habitat Management Area.

Investigators believe it was a deliberate incident and say there is no threat to public safety.

This is the second time in the last four months of the body of a deceased in Eniskilen, which has a population of less than 3,000.

The remains of an 18-year-old Ajax man were found on the Crooked Road in December.

Lambton County Governor and Eniskilen Mayor Kevin Marriott say that when the road is reopened, the habitat management area will be closed to the public and glued.

It is owned by the county and administered by the St. Clair Conservation Authority.

Police did not say there were any suspects in the arrest, prompting the family to hope the case is solved.

“We hope investigators find the person (s) responsible!” Says Chut Grant.
