Megan Markle praised the “amazing” Prince Harry at Invictus Games

Megan Markle praised her “amazing husband” Prince Harry during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Invictus Games.

“It is a great honor for me to introduce you to someone I think you will all enjoy listening to. I couldn’t love and respect him anymore, and I know you all feel the same, “the former Costume star erupted as she introduced him to an audience in the Netherlands on Saturday night.

“He is the founder of Invictus Games and the father of our two little ones, Archie and Lily,” she continued. “Please welcome my amazing husband, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex.

Harry – who founded the Games for Wounded and Sick Soldiers and Women in 2014 – then took the stage and kissed Markle in front of everyone, saying, “Thank you, my love.”

The Duke of Sussex then delivered his own heartbreaking speech, sharing at one point the fascinating career aspirations of his 2-year-old son Archie. Harry, 37, and Markle, 40, also have a 10-month-old daughter, Lillibet.

“To be a role model or the role model that each of you is requires strength and courage. When I talk to my son, Archie, about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days he’s an astronaut, some days he’s a helicopter pilot, obviously. Or Quasi from the Octopus, Harry said.

“But what I remind him is that no matter what you want to be when you grow up, your character is most important. And nothing would make his mother and me more proud to see him have the character of what we see before us today. ”
