A man and a woman face charges after breaking up and entering Dresden

Two people have been charged with burglary and entry after warned neighbors spotted bright lights in an empty home.

Chatham-Kent police responded to a call Friday morning on Dresden’s Camden Street.

When police arrived, they noticed that the side door of the house had been kicked and found a man and a woman inside.

Police arrested both for burglary and intrusion.

During the search, police said the man had alleged methamphetamine.

A 38-year-old man from Dresden has been charged with burglary, breaking into a home for the purpose of committing a felony and possession of a controlled substance.

The 38-year-old woman from Dresden is also accused of burglary, entering a house to commit a felony.

Both were released pending future court dates.
