A PEI resident won $ 8.6 million in the last Lotto 6/49 draw.
Atlantic Lottery says a ticket purchased on its draw website on Saturday won a $ 8,601,730.20 jackpot.
The buyer has indicated the residence of PEI and his identity has been confirmed. However, a spokesman for the Atlantic Lottery said in an email that he would not identify the winner until the confirmation process is complete.
