A woman died after a car accident on a rural road in Nottinghamshire. A 73-year-old man died at the scene of a collision of three cars in Buddy Road, Kukney, around 10 am on Saturday, April 16, police confirmed.
Officials said a second person in one of the other vehicles was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries not thought to be life-threatening or life-threatening. Officers investigating the incident called on anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has a board record to contact them.
Detective Officer Emma Temple of the Nottinghamshire Police Clashes Investigation Unit said: “A woman tragically lost her life after this incident in Kuckney and we have specialists supporting her family during this incredibly sad time.
“Our investigation is continuing into what happened, and we would ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any video surveillance or board recordings, to contact us at 101, citing incident number 230 of April 16, 2022.”
