Their children may have been looking for plastic colored eggs this morning, but Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are on a different hunt … pushing the pavement for their new home.
The couple – who have recently been engaged (again) – have been inspecting various properties throughout the Easter weekend … including on Sunday itself, when they showed up at Bel Air on a site that appears to be under construction.
We can’t see any real house here – it can be built while we’re talking – but Ben and Jen were outside and wanted to look around before returning to their SUV.
Saturday was pretty much the same … only they were in Brentwood at the time looking at a mansion — and seemed to enjoy the views from above of a raised part of the house where they didn’t really look so impressed — at least on the outside.
These are just the last stops Benifer has made in the search for real estate – which was relaunched after their deal for the coveted Bel Air mansion failed last week.
They have since explored the Holmby Hills area, as well as their own Bev Hills … peeping massive complexes – one owned by Mr Chow’s ex-wife and another designed by Mohammed Hadid – but seemingly have yet to decide .
This, of course, comes after they withdrew from a potential $ 55 million purchase – which they apparently thought was not right for them once they entered escrow.
While these luxury homes are around to choose from among the rich and famous in LA – there are probably many things that affect their decision beyond the crib … especially with their children in the picture yet. So, they want to make sure they make the right choice here.
Then they’re ready to get married again … so maybe there’s a little urgency on the table. I don’t want you to procrastinate too long – the engagement or the house hunt, that is.
