Fire crews called to the scene shortly after 11pm on Easter; eyewitnesses heard a loud bang before the flames erupted
Fire crews were called in for a fire at Blake Ave’s house. shortly after 11 pm on Easter.
Firefighters battled the initial fire quickly as heavy smoke billowed from the top of the house.
Several witnesses, living just a few doors down, heard a loud bang before watching the fire.
Emergency services closed Blake Ave. between Wawanosh Ave. and Oryme Ave.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. No casualties were reported.
