The videos were released at the same time as the SBU, Ukraine’s security service, released a video of Mr Medvedchuk calling on Vladimir Putin to trade him for soldiers and civilians in Mariupol.
It was not clear how freely men could speak. They also spoke hesitantly when invited, and at least one of them was handcuffed.

3. Russian forces take over the city of Donbass
Russian troops have taken the eastern Ukrainian city of Kremina as Moscow intensifies its offensive to take control of Donbass.
“There was a big attack at night,” Luhansk regional governor Sergei Gaidai said in a statement on social media.
“The Russian army has already entered there with a huge amount of military equipment … Our defenders have withdrawn to new positions,” he added.
Kremina, with a pre-war population of nearly 20,000, is located about 51 miles northeast of Kramatorsk, the region’s administrative center, and is a strategic target for Russian invasion.
4. Three killed in the shelling of Kharkiv
Three people were killed in a shelling in the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv on Monday, according to a statement from the local prosecutor’s office.
This comes a day after the bombing killed six people in Ukraine’s second-largest city.
Authorities said a shell fell on a playground and killed a man and a woman.
