New York mom Orsola Gaal found dismembered in a shopping bag near Queens Park

After a mother of two was found dead and stuffed in a large hockey bag near a popular public park in Queens on Saturday morning, police are trying to find the “unknown person” who was caught on surveillance footage dragging the bag down the street for hours earlier. Olsolia Gaal, 51, returned to her home in Forest Hills at about 11pm on Friday, a police source told the New York Daily News. Her crooked body was found by a dog walk around 8 a.m. the next day. Officers who responded to the scene followed the blood trail leading from the bag back to Gaal’s home, where only her 13-year-old son was. A neighbor told the Daily News that officers detained the boy in handcuffs. He was questioned and later released, according to the New York Post. According to social media reports, Gaal’s husband and 17-year-old son were in Oregon watching college at the time of her death, which has been identified as murder.
