Kelowna’s RCMP is looking for a driver who they think may be in trouble.

Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of block 450 on West Avenue around 6:30 a.m. Police were told the driver was behaving in a way that indicated he may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

Officers found the car, but before they could talk to the driver, the car left the scene, traveling to Gordon Drive. He was last seen on Pandosi Street.

“We are looking for a 2016 gray Dodge Grand Caravan with tinted windows and British Columbia registration number LW367M,” said a spokesman for the Kelowna RCMP Cpl. Tami Lob.

“We are concerned about the safety and well-being of the driver. There is currently no information to suggest that public safety is at stake. “

If you see the vehicle, call 911 and do not approach the vehicle, police advise.
