Police responded to reports of a shooting at a site linked to the Peruvian embassy in Washington, DC, on Wednesday.
DC police say the Secret Service is investigating, according to NBC News presenter Jamie Olabanji. Reports say there is at least one victim with a firearm.
The shooting took place in block 3000 on Garrison Street in the Northwest District of Columbia. However, the Peruvian embassy is located on Massachusetts Avenue.
Authorities have not revealed what the location has to do with the Peruvian embassy, but Garrison Street is a residential area.
