Victoria police said a man suffered severe burns after an unknown woman kicked him to the ground, causing him to spill tea on himself.
The man was walking down a sidewalk on Fort and Blanchard streets when the woman approached him at about 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.
According to police, she kicked the man to the ground and the force of the kick caused him to spill his tea, causing significant burns.
The man went to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries related to the burns.
The suspect left the scene.
She is described as an elderly Caucasian woman with a thin physique. She was wearing a gray hooded sweater, a green sweatshirt, a green tracksuit, yellow-marked sneakers, and a black backpack.
