Terribly close meeting of the family with the Great White Shark
Footage tingling in the spine captured the terrifying close encounter of a family with a great white shark.
The Australian family was trapped by a shark that circled their boat for more than an hour before launching an attack on them.
David Tuckfield, along with his wife Tanya and 14-year-old son Shelby, were fishing with their seven-meter boat off the coast of Mandura, south of Perth on Good Friday, when a wild beast attacked them.
After touring their ship, catching the terrified family, he repeatedly attacked their boat and tried to take pieces of their motorcycle.
Speaking to Australia’s 9News, Mr Tuckfield said the shark was between three and four meters long and had attacked the boat several times, trying to take several bites from the engine.

He said: “We had a big visitor from the deep, nice size … white pointer.
“He tried to take a piece off the bike, we were mesmerized. Such a great majestic creature.
“We don’t appreciate them until you see them up close, and this is their playground.”
The shark first appeared when her son Shelby spun his catch and tried to snatch the fish from the road.
Son Shelby said: “It was about two meters from the surface and all you could see were the teeth and that big mouth coming out.

While Mr. Tuckfield said he was “hypnotized,” his wife filmed the horrific encounter, reminiscent of Jaws movies.
Tanya screamed as the shark raised the water with its mouth open and again as it tried to pull a piece out of their boat.
Mr Tuckfield said he often went fishing, but had never seen a shark come so close to their boat or even one of that size.
But after he finally left them alone, they managed to return home and said that meeting the shark was the highlight of their Easter weekend.
