The Milwaukee Bucks’ recent dominance over the Chicago Bulls continued Sunday with a win in Game 1 of their first-round series. Since the opening, Janis Adetokunmpo has already beaten the Bulls 14 times in a row since 2018. Chicago, looking for its first victory in the playoff series since 2015, will try to end the losing streak and return to Game 2 on Wednesday night. The Bulls entered the fourth quarter, leading the Bucks 87-80.
The Bucks took match 1, 93-86, but scored the fewest points in a winning attempt this season. They were fueled by a defense that kept the Bulls down to the lowest total number of points per game from any Milwaukee opponent throughout the season. Nikola Vucevic (24 points), Demar DeRozan (18 points) and Zach Lavin (18 points) shot a combined 21 of 71 (30 percent) off the field in the loss. Janice led the Bucks with 27 points and 16 rebounds.
