Former US President Donald Trump has denied escaping a public interview with Pierce Morgan after the British TV presenter released a teaser for the segment, which shows that Trump is suddenly leaving the room.
The Trump team claims that the trailer was misleadingly edited to make a fuss about Morgan’s new show. In the video, Trump appears to be outraged, ordering the crew to “turn off the camera” after Morgan pressured him with tough questions.
The interview will be broadcast on Talk TV, a new subsidiary of News Corp. by Rupert Murdoch, and was named “the most explosive interview of the year.”
The alleged departure of Trump was announced by the New York Post, also a subsidiary of News Corp.

Trump spokesman Thayer Budovic said of the trailer: “It’s a pathetic attempt to use President Trump as a way to revive the career of a failed TV presenter.”
Trump’s team leaked a recording of the interview and appears to indicate that Morgan and the former president exchanged courtesies after the interview. There is no indication in this recording that Trump has left the set.

Morgan says, “It was a great interview,” at the end of the recording, and Trump agrees by saying yes.

“Thank you very much. I really appreciate it,” Morgan said.
Trump then said, “Turn off the camera,” but Budovic said the former president was already out of place at the time.
Trump can also be heard saying “very deceptively” in the teaser, but Budovic says this is due to the fact that Morgan delayed the interview longer than he initially claimed.

Budovic said Trump expected the interview to last 20 minutes, but in the end it lasted more than an hour. Morgan kept insisting that there was only one last question, but he kept asking.

At one point towards the end of the recording, Budovic asked, “Is this the last question? You have said the “last question” four times already. So I have a feeling you’re lying right now. “
“I’m not lying,” Morgan said, prompting Trump to say, “Very deceptive.”
Morgan sat in front of ITV on Thursday morning to reject the former president’s claim that the trailer was misleadingly edited.

“He says this is a rigged election, and now he says I have a rigged promotion. What I would say is: watch the interview. Everything will be there. We will not make any duplicitous edits. “
“The promotion reflects exactly what happened. Donald Trump was very angry about one particular thing and could not leave it. But when people see the interview, they will see that we have a good exchange. We’ve always done it before. But the anger he felt about what he was told before we started the interview was boiling, “he said.
The host seemed pleased that Trump was reacting publicly to the promotion. “I told my team, the only way to make it bigger is to wake up in the morning with a personal statement from Donald Trump. (C) 5 in the morning my phone rang and here it is! ”
