April 21 (Reuters) – Russia’s foreign ministry on Thursday announced sanctions against 61 Canadian officials, journalists and military experts in support of what it called the “Russophobic” position of the Canadian administration.
The list includes Special Operations Commander Major General Steve Boyvin, Central Bank Governor Thief McLeham, as well as John Torrey and Jim Watson, mayors of Toronto and Ottawa.
The ministry said 61 people were barred from entering Russia indefinitely.
