A tractor-trailer loaded with milk overturned on Highway 416, causing significant delays for drivers.
The crash happened in the southern lanes of the highway near Roger Stevens Drive around 6:30 p.m.
One driver was assessed on the spot and taken to hospital with minor injuries, according to paramedics in Ottawa.
The Ottawa Fire Department says the crews worked to absorb the spilled milk and some leaking fuel. Crews moved the truck to help clear traffic that was blocked before the OPP closed the road for investigation and cleanup.
It is unclear when the highway will reopen.
