The Rev. Al Sharpton called for protests this week after the fatal shooting of Patrick Lioya, 26, on April 4 by a Michigan police officer.
“It’s time to stand up, stand up in Michigan, stand up in the United States, stand up around the world,” Sharpton said Friday. “It’s time to fight again. It’s time to hike again. It’s time to get organized again. It’s time to get together again. It’s time to go together, kids. Don’t get tired. There is no justice, no peace.
