A missing couple from Concord, New Hampshire, was found shot dead on a remote footpath after several days of searching.
Stephen Reed, 67, and Jesvende Reed, 66, were last seen on Monday when they left home for a walk around 2:22 p.m., according to the New Hampshire Attorney General’s office.
The Reed family were found shot dead on Broken Ground Trails on Thursday night. Both died from multiple gunshot wounds, Deputy Chief Medical Officer Mitchell Weinberg said Friday. The shootings are defined as killings.
Police say there is no suspect or motive for the killings and the investigation is ongoing.

Police said the couple did not own a weapon and had no history of domestic violence. The couple regularly walked the paths in the area of their apartment, where they were found dead, authorities said.
“Anyone who saw Reids that Monday afternoon, anyone who walks these paths, anyone who has any information related to their disappearance or death, has been asked to contact the Concord Police Department,” said a senior assistant chief. prosecutor Jeffrey Ward at a news conference on Friday.
The prosecutor’s office has also asked anyone living in the area of the sidewalks with security cameras to provide video to law enforcement.
Family members last spoke to Stephen Reed on Monday, and the couple was declared missing when he failed to appear at his weekly tennis match on Wednesday.
“Concord is one of the safest cities in the safest states,” said Concord Police Chief Bradley Osgood.
