Someone left a prototype Google Pixel Watch in a restaurant

In 2010, Apple software engineer Gray Powell left a prototype iPhone 4 at a bar in Redwood City, California. In an era where almost every device expires before it is officially announced, the images of a new iPhone appearing online look strange. But it was a big deal at the time, and US law enforcement was even involved in the incident. Now, more than a decade later, images of another long-awaited device have made their way online in much the same way.

Android Central

On Saturday night, Android Central shared photos of Google’s long-running rumor Pixel Watch. The publication says that it received the images you see in this publication from someone who found the smartwatch in a restaurant in the United States. The photos confirm that the Pixel Watch will have a round face with minimal display frames. If you look closely, you can see the wearable strap attached directly to its case, with a fastening mechanism that looks like Google’s property and is reminiscent of the design used by Fitbit on its Versa and Sense smartwatches (Google acquired the company in 2021). ).

The watch has a button next to its crown and something that looks like a microphone port or altimeter. On the back of the device you can see an optical heart rate sensor. Unfortunately, the watch will not exceed the boot screen, so there are no pictures of it running Wear OS 3.

According to an expiring report by John Prosser published in January, Google will announce the Pixel Watch on May 26. The company recently applied for a trademark in the name of Pixel Watch. Visit Android Central to see more photos of the leaked device.
