Sony is set to unveil the free PS4 and PS5 games for the PlayStation Plus for May 2022. Assuming Sony sticks to its traditional schedule, the next wave of free PS Plus will be officially announced at 4.30pm BST on April 27th . The games for PlayStation 4 and PS5 will be available for download less than a week later, on the morning of May 3. On the eve of the big revelation, subscribers had fun anticipating the lineup for May.
In the Reddit monthly forecast thread, subscribers have listed some of the games they believe will come to PS Plus in May.
One of the games that received a lot of mention was Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order on PS4 / PS5. This is because it is Star Wars Day on May 4th.
Other games with many mentions include the first-person version of Sackboy: A Big Adventure, which was the title for the PS5 launch.
The Marvel Avengers continue to be strong in the forecasting thread, along with NFS: Heat, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, NBA 2K22 and Lost Legacy.
More optimistic fans have cited games such as Far Cry 6, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 and Sekiro.
The new games will replace the current lineup of Hood: Outlaws & Legends, SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated and Slay the Spire.
The highlight is Slay the Spire, which is a role-playing card game in which players must defeat enemies, fight bosses and kill the various bosses of the game.
