Two students were injured when they were stabbed at a Mississauga high school on Tuesday afternoon, Peel Regional Police said.
Employees were called to the high school “St. Marcellin ”in the area of Courtnipark Drive and Mavis Road, at 12:22 pm for signals of disturbances in the school property.
They found two victims at the school and said paramedics were caring for their injuries.
Paramedics said one victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police said both victims received non-life-threatening injuries.
St. Marcellin was closed for about an hour, and Mississauga High School, about 650 meters to the east, was in custody for the same period.
Police said the suspect fled the scene.
