Wardlaw Heating & Cooling – a local property that has been operating for more than 40 years – has been sold to St. Catharines-based Right Time.
Wardlow confirmed that the sale takes effect on March 31, but declined to comment further when he contacted him on Wednesday.
Wardlaw Heating & Cooling is a leading installer and service provider for heating, air conditioning and air quality equipment at Sault Ste. Marie.
Its management and staff will continue to work as employees of Right Time, although no major change in Wardlaw’s signs is expected.
The terms of the sale of the business, announced on April 1, were not disclosed.
Wardlaw Heating & Cooling has won numerous awards from Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce over the years.
“We are proud of the company we built and our commitment to the community we have served for the past 40 years,” co-owner Greg Wardlow said in a statement.
“We chose Right Time because they have a great reputation for integrating and optimizing local HVAC businesses, while maintaining the local brand and the company’s reputation, which we believe will benefit both our dedicated team and customers. We look forward to Wardlaw’s continued success and growth with the right time. “
