SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – Numerous units are at the site of an Interstate 8 shooting near 805 in Mission Valley, where an officer was shot dead Wednesday night.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the employee was taken to Mercy Hospital and it is not clear what their condition is.
Officers closed I-8 until further notice. Police did not say details about the shooting.This is an evolving story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
