The Montreal Canadiens secured the highest odds in the NHL Draft lottery for next month on Wednesday, although they broke a nine-game losing streak.
The Canadiens, who beat the New York Rangers 4-3, finished last in the NHL after the Arizona Coyotes defeated the Dallas Stars after extra time later in the night. The Canadiens can still face the Coyotes with 55 points, but have two wins in regulation / overtime less than Arizona.
