A 26-year-old man wanted by police on a number of serious charges of stealing a pickup truck in the St. John area earlier this week has surrendered.
Police were informed this morning that Corey Evans of Mount Pearl had surrendered to a provincial court in St. John’s.
Evans was detained pending trial.
An arrest warrant was issued yesterday on various charges of theft and weapons.
The RNC continues to investigate the Petty Harbor Road incident around 3 p.m. on Monday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RNC or Crime Stoppers.
