Warriors vs. Nuggets: Updates on Live NBA Playoffs as Stephen Curry and Co. seek to win the series against Denver

The Golden State Warriors scored three straight victories to open their first-round streak against the Nuggets before Denver won Game 4. This not only kept the Nuggets hoping for the season, but also ended a streak of eight Golden State appearances. Now back home, the Warriors will aim to finish off Nikola Jokic and Co. and advance to the next round of the post-season with a win in Game 5. Golden State and Denver enter the second half after a 48-48 break.

The Warriors are 19-8 in the final games under Steve Kerr, although 0-1 in this series after failing to complete Sunday’s cleanup. Golden State also has a 15-1 all-time lead in the 3-1 series – the only loss came in the 2016 finals. As for the Nuggets, they are 8-3 when facing elimination under Michael Malone including 5-0 in the first round. Malone is the only head coach in NBA history to overcome multiple 3-1 deficits. His Nuggets wiped out two 3-1 holes in the 2020 bubble.
