The NFL’s 2022 project included everything from screaming outfits to surprise elections and, of course, blockbuster deals.
One major move involved exchanging the Baltimore Ravens with wide-ranging successor Marquis Brown and their 100th overall pick for the Arizona Cardinals’ only pick in the first round.

The Ravens later chose Iowa center Hawkeye Tyler Linderbaum with the No. 25 pick they received from Arizona.
But Lamar Jackson was not very excited about the decision at the front office.

In March, the Baltimore star quarterback expressed his feelings about potential trading, including sending Brown to Kansas City Chiefs.
“Excuse my French, very fast, sir … But damn it!” Jackson wrote on Twitter.
Unfortunately for Jackson, the deal with Brown became a reality as Jackson and his former successor said goodbye to each other.

Despite his displeasure, Jackson made it clear that he was not upset by the addition of Linderbaum.

The trade allows for the reunion of Murray and Brown, who were teammates at the Oklahoma Souners. The two tied for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2018, and Murray won the Heisman trophy before being the first overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Brown was later selected as the 25th overall.
