The video of Halina Hutchins’ death is still available from the sheriff, despite her husband’s request

The sheriff in the Rust shooting investigation is apparently telling Halina Hutchins’ widower and son to hammer sand, because a video the sheriff released showing Halina dying slowly after she was shot is still available for viewing on the official website.

TMZ revealed the story, Matthew Hutchins’ lawyer Brian Panish sent a shocking email to Sheriff Adan Mendoza on Wednesday, asking him to download the video of Halina dying on the floor of the church on the set of Rust.

But to this post, the video was still live on the link provided by the sheriff.

Halina’s husband tore up Sheriff Mendoza, saying he had trampled on the family’s dignity and privacy by releasing footage and other evidence in the Rust shooting case.

The footage shows Halina bleeding while the medics are frantically caring for her … and her husband claims that this will cause irreparable damage to both him and their 9-year-old son Andros.

The family’s lawyer claims that Mendoza promised to allow Halina’s husband to review all the material in the case before he was released, but he says the sheriff cut off the family by releasing all the evidence without allowing Matthew to look and judge.

We learned that the sheriff did not even respond to the request of lawyer Panish.

It is unclear when the video will be downloaded, if ever.
