LOS ANGELES (KABC) – A driver led police in pursuit of slow speeds on shallow streets in the Mid-City area on Friday night.
There were several times in the chase when the driver stopped the car and went out to point at police officers and make hand gestures to simulate gunfire.
Each time the driver returned to the car and continued to drive at a speed not exceeding 40 miles per hour.
Numerous LAPD patrol vehicles were behind him as the driver, a possible suspect in the attack, continued to drive and stopped. The man was probably armed, police said.
