Man City goal Erling Haaland breaks silence over agent Mino Raiola’s death

Manchester City target Erling Haaland paid tribute to agent Mino Raiola after his death.

The Italian mediator had a number of world football stars as clients, including the Borussia Dortmund striker. Rayola unfortunately died on Saturday (April 30th) after battling an illness.

Haaland, who scored a hat-trick in Dortmund’s 4-3 defeat to Bochum, wrote on his Instagram: “The best”, accompanied by a photo of him next to the agent. Representatives of Rayola announced the heartbreaking news through a statement on his profile on social networks.

The statement reads: “In endless grief, we share the death of the most caring and incredible football agent that has ever existed. Mino fights to the end with the same force he put on the negotiating tables to protect our players.

“As usual, Mino made us proud and we never realized it. Mino has touched so many lives through his work and written a new chapter in the history of modern football.

“His presence will be gone forever. Mino’s mission to make football a better place for players will continue with the same passion. We thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support they have received during these difficult times, and we ask for respect for the privacy of family and friends in this time of grief. “
