Tom Parker: The funeral of the star of The Wanted is over
Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey said his groupmates would help raise his two children.
Kelsey, 32, described how The Wanted stars have been a great support to Tom since he was diagnosed with brain cancer two years ago and wants them to contribute to her daughter and son’s lives.
Tom died tragically at the age of 33 in March, 18 months after being diagnosed with brain cancer.
She explained that 31-year-old Jay McGuinness had moved into their home in Tom’s last days to help care for their children – two-year-old Aurelia and 18-month-old Bodhi – so she could go see Tom at the hospice.
The mother told The Sun: “Jay stayed with us. He was upstairs in the attic room just to know he was there.”

She said of Tom J’s colleagues Max George, 33, Gray Kaneshwaran, 33, and Nathan Sykes, 29, “They are a big part of our lives and have always been. They are also role models for the children, so I want them to come and contribute to their lives and tell them stories about their father. “
Kelsey explained that the singers knew stories she didn’t know about Tom and that Bodhi would want to know about his father when he grew up.
She added: “They will always be with us.”

Speaking about Tom’s last moments, Kelsey said it was “beautiful to the end” and remembered holding his hand as he died.
Kelsey said she slept with him and that they were there for two hours because she just wanted that moment with him.
“I didn’t want anyone to come in,” she said. “We needed that time together to talk.”
Kelsey described him as “romantic” even though they were together in a hospice, and said that Tom had always been “so romantic, loving and caring.”

Kelsey recently shared a touching photo of her daughter Aurelia holding a feather on Instagram when she said “Daddy’s coming to visit.”
She revealed that Tom had promised to send her signs every day before she died.
The mother remembers sitting on a bench crying when a feather fell from the sky.
Kelsey said, “I told Tom before he died, ‘Are you going to give me signs every day,’ and he said yes?” I knew immediately that it was him.
“I kept this pen, I still have it in a small glass pot on my dresser.

This comes after Kelsey shared an emotional poem in her Instagram stories last week after her husband’s funeral.
She said, “Sorrow may feel like the death of the soul while the body is still alive, but you are alive, my friend.
“And they are not, nor do they want to be with them yet. They really want you to live. ”
The poem continues: “Don’t be afraid of the pain you are experiencing, it’s just love to fight, to look for a place to go. So let him go somewhere. ”

At the end of the post, it was written that the poem was called “I Wish I Knew” by Donna Ashworth.
Tom’s funeral took place on April 20 at St Francis Church of Assisi in Pats Wood, south-east London.
Fans were invited to line the streets and greeted outside the church as the service was played on screens.
Tom’s The Wanted bandmates Max, Gray, Nathan and Jay were pliers.
In a pre-recorded praise of the ministry that left the flock in tears, Kelsey called Tom her “soul mate” and said he had “taught his children how to be brave.”
She added that the boy’s star would still be alive today, “if only love could save him.”
