A huge fire broke out overnight in a warehouse full of textbooks in a Moscow suburb, the latest in a series of unexplained fires in Russia.
About 33,800 square meters have been seized in hell at a warehouse in Moscow’s Bogorodsky district, officials said. About 100 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and smoke was seen rising into the sky.
Reports say the warehouse was rented by Prosveshcheniye (“Enlightenment”), Russia’s main textbook publisher. Last month, independent media reported that the publisher had removed the mention of Ukraine from his books since the start of Russia’s “special operation”.
