POLICE have identified the man who fell overboard from a boat in the port of Poole as 24-year-old David Howe.
At 1.59am on Monday, Dorset police received a signal that Mr Howe had fallen from the RIB.
Throughout the day, officers assist the HM Coast Guard in searches.
David is described as white, five feet and ten inches tall, with a thin physique, with short mouse brown hair that is shaved on the sides and back, but longer on top. He also has a short beard and fluffy eyebrows.
Chief Inspector Darren Harris of Dorset Police said: “Since the initial report on David’s disappearance, coordinated efforts have been made to search for and rescue several agencies.
“Police, Coast Guard, RNLI and DorSAR volunteers are thoroughly searching the port and surrounding areas. We will continue our efforts to find David.
“If anyone has seen David or a man matching his description after he has disappeared or has any information that may help in our search, please contact us immediately.”
