Manchester United’s interim manager Ralph Rangnik has said that Jesse Lingard’s lack of training time has prevented him from saying goodbye to Old Trafford against Brentford.
The 29-year-old Lingard is ready to leave United when his contract expires on June 30, but the academy’s product was not used in their last home game of the season.
Rangnik introduced Fred, Phil Jones and Edinson Cavani in the second half of United’s Premier League victory, while Lingard remained on the bench after retiring from the team against Chelsea for personal reasons.

In an Instagram post, Lingard’s brother rebuked United for their “classless” refusal to play with Lingard, claiming that the club was run by “people who don’t even know the offside trap.”
Lingard was a member of the United FA Cup, which won the FA Youth Cup in 2011, hit the winner of the FA Cup final in 2016, scored in the triumphant final of the 2017 League Cup and entered the Europa League final for three months. later.
Cavani appeared for the first time since the defeat of Atletico Madrid on March 15. Since then, Lingard has played three times, starting against Norwich and playing almost the entire 4-0 defeat to Liverpool, where he entered in the 10th minute.
Rangnik was an active defender of the five-deputy rule, which should be reintroduced next season, and also blamed Lingard for remaining on the bench.
