PEI reports a new death related to COVID-19 in the last week.
The person is aged between 40-59 years. This is the 26th death associated with PEI’s COVID-19
There were 1,163 new cases with an average of 166 cases per day since the last update on April 26.
This is less than 1,738 new cases and an average of 248 cases per day in the previous week.
Six people are in hospital for COVID-19. Another seven were taken for other reasons and tested positive for COVID-19 at or after treatment. There is no one in the intensive care unit treated for COVID-19.
There are 35,433 confirmed cases of PEI’s COVID-19 since the beginning of the pandemic more than two years ago.

- Garden house
- Gilis Lodge

- Home of Margaret Stuart Ellis

- Wejuwood Manor
- Whisperwood Villa
