The Phoenix Suns certainly looked like part of the best placed in the Western Conference in their semifinal match against the Dallas Mavericks, as they successfully defended their home ground to lead 2-0 in their best seven-on-series with 129-109 victory on wednesday night.
Phoenix had four players who finished the victory after scoring a double-digit achievement, but Chris Paul and Devin Booker were the ones to lead the Suns, with the duo combining 58 points, along with 12 assists and 10 rebounds. Luka Doncic was fantastic for the Mavericks, finishing with a record 35 points, as well as seven assists and five rebounds. In the end, however, that wasn’t enough to give Dallas a chance to win Game 2.
The two teams will meet again on Friday night in Dallas for Game 3.
