Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic made the first half of Game 2, scoring 24 points in Phoenix and informing fans.
You could see Luca moving back and forth with those present after many of his buckets, including the one when he essentially told the patrons on the court side to calm down after hitting a three-pointer with a wing.
The tweet continued in the first half, and as Doncic walked to the locker room in the third quarter, he apparently made an exception to something a fan said, and turned to say at least words if he didn’t intend to have more than that before being detained.
TNT’s Ali Lafors confirmed that Doncic had indeed traveled back and forth with fans all night. “It affects him,” LaForce said. For what it’s worth, Doncic cooled significantly in the second half (and then the interaction) when the Suns, behind another virtuoso performance of Chris Paul, took full control in the fourth quarter on the road to victory with 129-109.
Phoenix now leads the series 2-0. Match 3 is in Dallas on Friday.
