These features make Meta Quest 2 even better

Meta Quest 2 is one of those rare products that continues to improve. Part of this is related to the hardware, which has received several useful updates since we reviewed it in late 2020, including support for 120Hz refresh rate for some games, Air Link for wireless connection to a gaming computer and others. Better yet, Meta shows no signs of slowing down the pace of updates.

But almost equally important to the long-term success of Quest 2 are the interesting ways in which the VR community has changed aspects of the hardware or created its own software to go beyond what is usually possible in a ready-made Quest 2. VR headset.

In this video, I immerse myself in a handful of those tips and tricks, both software and hardware, that have greatly expanded my personal enjoyment of Quest 2. Some of them are paid upgrades to increase comfort or sound quality or facilitate reloading to name a few examples. But some of them are free to try for yourself. So, whether you own one of these headphones from day one or are considering getting one, I hope they can help you get more out of your headphones.
