“In the course of this long-term agreement, Tom will not only convene our biggest NFL games with Kevin Burkhard, but will also serve as an ambassador for us, especially in terms of customers and promotional initiatives,” Fox Sports said in a statement. .

The seven-time Super Bowl champion briefly called it a career in February before announcing 40 days later that he would return to the Buccaneers for his 23rd NFL season.

Brady, 44, wrote on Twitter on Tuesday that while he was “excited” about his post-NFL venture, he had “a lot of unfinished business on the pitch” with the Buccaneers.

The Buccaneers were knocked out of the playoffs in January after losing to the NFC Divisional round by eventual Super Bowl Rams champion. Two months later, head coach Bruce Arians announced he would move to the front office, with former defense coordinator Todd Bowles named his successor.

The news for Brady comes after Fox Joe Buck and Troy Aikman left the ESPN network.

Buck and Aikman, who have called more than 300 games together for Fox, will slide into the cabin of “Football on Monday Night” on September 12.
