Former Barcelona star Gary Lineker has shared his sentence for Killian Mbape’s decision to reject Real Madrid to stay at PSG, with a tough check on the reality of Los Blancos.
Mbape has chosen to sign a three-year contract extension with the Ligue 1 champions, which will keep him in the French capital until 2025. This means that he will not join Madrid with a free transfer this summer, as many expected.
His decision sparked outrage in Madrid, with La Liga itself issuing a statement confirming it would file a formal complaint with UEFA. Los Blancos will now have to find a new Galaxy to build their team, with club president Florentino Perez assuring fans that Mbape will join.

However, Lineker has no time to complain to Madrid and La Liga about Mbape’s decision to stay. Instead, the host of the Match of the Day kicked out the two organizations for their groans, making a brutal remark about their current state of European football.
